Parent Arrested At Alabama School After Fight Ends In Gunfire: PD
Police in Montgomery, Alabama said no injuries were reported.
MONTGOMERY, AL — Police arrested a man, believed to be a parent, after he fired a gun in the parking lot of an Alabama elementary school after exchanging words with another parent over a traffic dispute, authorities said.
Montgomery police say they were called to the scene around 7:26 a.m. at Blount Elementary School. Police said both men were dropping their kids off at school when the dispute began.
According to police, the altercation escalated between the two men when one of them fired a gun that hit a car. No injuries were reported.

The man who fired the gun, identified by police as 38-year-old Isaiah Johnson, of Montgomery, entered the school and turned in his weapon. He then waited for cops to arrive before turning himself in, police said.
The second man involved in the dispute also waited at the scene but was ultimately released by cops becuase he did not have a gun on him and did not fire a weapon.
