Coronavirus Cases In Alabama Climb To 106
Fifty of those cases are in Jefferson County, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.
The Alabama Department of Public Health confirmed Friday afternoon that there are now 106 cases of the coronavirus in Alabama. Fifty of those cases are in Jefferson County.
Cases have been confirmed in the following counties:

At this time, no deaths attributed to the coronavirus have been reported.

According to ADPH, it’s unclear how easily this virus is spreading between people. Patients with confirmed COVID-19 infection have reportedly had mild to severe respiratory illness with symptoms of fever, cough, and shortness of breath appearing anywhere from 2 to 14 days after exposure.
ADPH officials say they are updating case counts in the table above twice a day.
