AL Coronavirus: Whole Foods Offers Special Hours To Seniors
Amid coronavirus concerns, Alabama customers who are 60+ will be allowed to shop one hour before the store opens to the general public.

BIRMINGHAM, AL—Whole Foods Markets is adjusting its store hours to accommodate customers most vulnerable to the coronavirus, the elderly. Starting Wednesday, customers who are 60 and older will be allowed to shop one hour before the store opens to the general public under the store’s new adjusted hours.
"We are setting aside this time to help these customers, who national health authorities have identified as among the most vulnerable to COVID-19, feel more comfortable shopping our stores and helping to ensure they are able to get the items they need in a less crowded environment," Whole Foods Markets officials said in a news release.

During this time, stores will remain open for pickup (in stores that offer it), and employees will continue to fulfill prime delivery orders in an effort to meet unprecedented demand and ensure that people who need to remain at home can still get their groceries in a timely manner.
