Fans are in for possibly the most anticipated game of the season. Alabama has put up an average of 49 points per game (PPG), while LSU averages 50-plus points. The team's success is in part due to recent changes by head coach Ed Orgeron, who has made strides with every aspect of the LSU team.

“I can tell you there’s nobody in Louisiana who has ever seen LSU have this kind of offense,” Louisiana governor John Bel Edwards told Wall Street Journal. “He’s a Louisiana native, and he brings excitement like we never had before.”

To be sure, it's going to be a shootout in Tuscaloosa. Both teams have quarterbacks that are leading candidates for the Heisman Trophy.

Plus, there's the added contention every time these two teams face off. The rivalry has been going strong since 1895, when LSU garnered a 12-6 win over the Crimson Tide. Now, LSU is looking to rewrite the story from last year, when Alabama pounded their opponent for a 29-0 win in Louisiana.

College football fans won't want to miss the opportunity to see these two juggernauts go head to head. The game will be held on Saturday Nov. 9 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are still available, with seats starting at $301. Use the code "PatchTickets10" to save 10 percent at checkout.
