Ken Brown, officer-in-charge of the Bureau’s Dothan office, said officers received a tip Tuesday that probationer Demetrius Roberts, also known as “Sir Charles,” had set up shop in a hotel room at the Red Roof Inn on Montgomery Highway and was dealing a large amount of narcotics.

According to the agency, officers arrived at the hotel room and conducted a search. Ultimately, they found six pounds of marijuana, digital scales, Ziploc bags and $17,000 cash. The street value of the marijuana is about $6,000.
