1 Dead After Shooting At Ensley Chevron Station

BIRMINGHAM, AL — One man is dead after a shooting at a Chevron station in Birmingham Friday. The incident occurred just after 9 a.m. at the Chevron at 2301 Ensley Avenue.

Officer Truman Fiyzgerald of the Birmingham Police Department said the preliminary investigation suggests the victim was shot as a during a theft attempt. The victim was taken to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
