3 Birmingham Restaurants To Close Permanently
Closing amid coronavirus concerns, three local restaurants have opted to permanently close their doors.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The effects of altering business hours, and even having to close temorarily due to coronavirus concerns will have an effect on many local businesses, and some are already feeling the effects — including three local restaurants that have opted to close their doors permanently.The Birmingham Business Journal reported that Mile End Deli, Brio and Babalu will each close permanently.
Mile End, located across from Birmingham's Railroad Park, will become a Hero Doughnuts and Buns location, the BBJ reports. Brio, located in Brookwood Village, had been at the Mountain Brook location for nearly two decades. And Babalu, located in Birmingham's Lakeview district, had already laid off its employees amid COVID-19 concerns, and closed multiple locations in its chain.
