5 Points West Tree Lighting And Holiday Parade: What To Know
Dr. Jesse Lewis will be the Grand Marshal for the annual 5 Points West Holiday Parade.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — Christmas is approaching, and this weekend the Five Points West Community is getting into the holiday spirit with its annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Parade. The event is set for Saturday at the CrossPlex Marquee in Birmingham.
The event begins at 10:30 a.m., and starts with the lighting of the tree, followed by a parade that will begin at 11:30. Serving as grand marshal for the parade this year is Dr. Jesse Lewis. Lewis is the founder of the Birmingham Times, chairman and founder of Agency54, and CEO and chairman of the J.J. Lewis Foundation.
For more than 50 years, Lewis has been a business entrepreneur and resident of the west side community.
