ALDOT Announces Road Closures In Downtown Birmingham On Friday
ALDOT has announced that the ramp from Sixth Avenue North to I-65 North will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Alabama Department of Transportation has announced that the ramp from Sixth Avenue North to I-65 North will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. The closure is part of the project to redesign the interchanges of Interstate 59/20 with I-65 and the Red Mountain Expressway in downtown Birmingham.
Motorists traveling north from downtown Friday during the day will have to find alternate routes.
The ramp from the Red Mountain Expressway onto 59/20 North also will be closed this week from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
