Arrest Made In Death Of Pedestrian In Bessemer
Police have made an arrest after a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Bessemer Wednesday morning.

BESSEMER, AL — Police have made an arrest after a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in Bessemer. The incident occurred just before 4 a.m. in the 100 block of 9th Avenue SW.
The Jefferson County Coroner identified the victim as 35-year-old Holly Jo Dunn.

Bessemer police made the arrest Thursday, according to a WBRC report. The name of the person arrested has not been released.
Police said Dunn died on the scene and the driver of the vehicle was taken to UAB West.
