Arrest Made In Fatal Fairfield Shooting
A person is in custody at Jefferson County Jail after a deadly shooting in Fairfield Thursday.
FAIRFIELD, AL — A shooting in Fairfield Thursday resulted in one person dead and another in custody at Jefferson County Jail. The shooting occurred just after 11 a.m.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the victim was shot while in his car, and several people came forward with information about the case that led to the arrest of 24-year-old Travec Brandon Ard.
Ard is being held without bond.
