Thunder on the Mountain

Seeking a traditional way to celebrate the 4th? Enjoy your July 4th festively with Thunder on the Mountain. Spend your night viewing a fireworks display and partaking in various fun, food, music and activities.


July 4 Festival

What: Rides, Inflatables, Music, Vendors
Where: Downtown Homewood
When: July 4, 2018 / 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

If you're looking to fill your day with more patriotic fun then you might enjoy this July 4th Festival. There will be rides, inflatables, music, vendors, and more. All of these activities end at 9:00 p.m. to shift your attention to Thunder on the Mountain, so you can have the fun and the fireworks!

Fire On The Water

What: Fireworks, food, family fun

Where: Oak Mountain State Park, Pelham

When: July 1 / 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Food Trucks will be on site (food trucks and vendors will take card payments) as early as 10 a.m. and will remain onsite serving until the end of the show. Flip Side Watersports will be on the water providing wake boarding entertainment, and there will be beach volleyball, basketball courts, the treetop nature trail, playground and fishing piers in the show's vicinity. Also, the Oak Mountain Interpretive Center will be on hand this year with some of their snakes and turtles
