Birmingham Gun Buyback Event: What To Know
is holding a Spring Gun Buyback event Saturday. "No questions asked."
BIRMINGHAM, AL — Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated, with help from the Birmingham Police Department, will host a Spring Gun Buyback Saturday. The buyback will be held at First Ebenezer Baptist Church Fellowship House located at 420 Graymont Avenue North.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Anyone turning in a firearm will not be questioned or documented. The weapons will be turned in and secured by police to assure safety.

"This is one of many calls for actions to fight against gun violence occurring in our communities," Sgt. Rod Mauldin said. "Community members turning over guns will be awarded a Walmart gift card for taking an initiative to combat gun violence."
Gift cards will be provided on a scale based on the type of firearm turned in.
