Former Auburn Football Star To Open Grocery Store In Birmingham

A former Auburn and NFL star is opening a grocery store in west Birmingham later this year.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A former football star is opening a grocery store in west Birmingham later this year. Auburn alum and NFL veteran Karlos Dansby is opening Dansby Foods off Bessemer Road, according to a WVTM report.

Dansby Foods will take over the building that was occupied by Winn Dixie until the store closed in 2018.
