Going Above And Beyond: Birmingham Hero Brenda Meadows

BIRMINGHAM, AL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Reason for recognition: Brenda Meadows, owner of The Lingerie Shoppe, went above and beyond the pale by filling 210 Comfort Bags for nurses-male and female-at UAB. Every bag was filled with amazing items like pajamas, gowns, sleep shirts, Saxx men's underwear, silk underwear, etc.

One thing to know: She has such a heart for others...always goes above and beyond being kind and helpful to those around her.
