Jordan Fisher Takes Mirrorball Trophy In Dancing With The Stars

Fisher and partner Lindsay Arnold finished the ballroom dancing competition in first place in the show's Tuesday night finale.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham native Jordan Fisher has interesting plans for his mirrorball trophy that he earned on "Dancing With The Stars"; the actor and singer told Good Morning America he plans to let the trophy serve as a Thanksgiving centerpiece when he celebrates with his family.

Fisher and partner Lindsay Arnold finished the ballroom dancing competition in first place in the show's Tuesday night finale, with violinist Lindsey Stirling coming in second and actor Frankie Muniz coming in third. Fisher registered perfect scores in the finale with a retry of his samba from week 2 and a salsa/paso fusion dance.

Fisher, 23, was raised in Birmingham before going on to star in Disney Channel and Nickelodeon shows, and later took up a lead role in the Broadway hit "Hamilton."

Fisher's ballroom journey isn't over, though. He and his partner will embark on an 11-week "Dancing With the Stars: Light Up the Night" tour, which kicks off Dec. 30 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Muniz and other season 25 competitors will be on the road as well.
