New Pelham Business Teams with Others to Help Hurricane Victims

Brass Monkey Outfitters, a brand new business in Pelham, is looking to help Hurricane Harvey victims.

PELHAM, AL - A new Pelham business, Brass Monkey Outfitters, has teamed up with Rock-N-Roll Sushi of Hoover and Easy Street Resale in Pelham throughout the weekend to gather donations for survivors of Hurricane Harvey. Brass Monkey Outfitters opened Sept. 1, and went right to work collectinfggoods for hurricane victims.

The owner of the business, Mason Kerth , told the Shelby County Reporter he is a Hurricane Katrina survivor, and seeing he damage from Harvey really hit home with him. Kerth said they were looking to take up water, non-perishable foods, baby diapers, toiletries and hygiene products. Brass Monkey Outfitters is located on Bowling Lane off of Pelham Parkway. It features clothing sold exclusively at that location and Kerth said the store owns the rights to all of the clothing at Brass Monkey.
