Pedestrian struck And Killed In Bessemer
Bessemer police say a pedestrian was struck and killed early Wednesday morning in the 1100 block of 9th Avenue SW.
BESSEMER, AL — A pedestrian was struck and killed early Wednesday morning in Bessemer. A WBRC report said the incident occurred just before 4 a.m. in the 1100 block of 9th Avenue SW.
Police said the pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene, and the driver of the vehicle was taken to UAB West Hospital.
The name of the deceased has not been released.
