Mountain Brook High School Spartans Head to Helena in First Away Game of the Season

Fresh off of a solid win against Gulf Shores High School, Mountain Brook High School heads to Helena with confidence.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — The Mountain Brook Spartans will hit the road Friday in their first away game to face Helena, fresh off of a 56-24 win in their season opener against Gulf Shores. The last time Mountain Brook faced the Huskies, the Spartans came out on top with 21-14 win.

RB Harold Joiner heads into this week's game fresh off a recruiting visit to the University of Alabama, according to AL.com. The senior four-star recruit rushed for 195 yard on 13 carries in last week's victory, cashing in four touchdown runs in the process. Joiner is currently ranked as the nation's No. 5 running back.

The Spartans are 1-0 for the season so far.
