Suspects In Family Dollar Store Robbery Sought By Birmingham PD

The Family Dollar store on Alameda Avenue in Birmingham was robbed Thursday, and police look to identify a man seen in security photos.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Family Dollar store at 3124 Alameda Avenue in Birmingham was robbed Thursday night, and police are trying to identify suspect seen on security footage during the crime.

The incident occurred just after 9:30 p.m., and police say two men entered the store, one of whom brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. Tnetwo men left the store with an undisclosed amount of money, according to Officer Truman Fitzgerald of the Birmingham Police Department.
