UAB Among Forbes' Best Employers For New Graduates 2021

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The University of Alabama at Birminghamwas named named America's No. 4 Best Employer for New Graduates 2021. Among the top four, UAB is the top ranking institution in education.

The Forbes list ranked employers chosen by more than 20,000 young professionals through an independent survey focused on work-related issues and their experiences in the workplace. Participants were asked to rate the likelihood that they would recommend their employer to family and friends.

"We are honored that so many new graduates choose to begin their careers at UAB," said UAB Provost Pam Benoit, senior vice president for Academic Affairs. "I think they understand how big an impact they can make at UAB, and that we value their perspectives and educational experiences. Having highly engaged new graduates on our team is important to the work we do."

This announcement follows the awarding of America's No. 1 Best Large Employer by Forbes in February and one of America's Best Employers for Diversity by Forbes in April.
