Uniontown Man Charged In Fatal Shooting: Police

Police have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a Birmingham man outside a gas station on 3rd Avenue West.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Police have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a Birmingham man outside a gas station on 3rd Avenue West. Keegan Dixie, 27, of Uniontown, has been charged in the shooting and booked into the Jefferson County Jail on a $250,000 bond, police said.

Antonio Taylor, 28, was shot in the chest outside the Shell station Sunday night, police said. He was taken to UAB hospital where he later died, ABC 33/40 reported.

Police say they have different accounts of the shooting with one witness saying it was accidental and another claiming it was intentional.
