Vestavia Hills Parks, Pavilions Remain Open for Labor Day
In observance of Monday's holiday, Vestavia Hills municipal offices will be closed, but parks will stay open for community use.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — While most of Vestavia Hills will close up shop for Labor Day, all of the city's parks, pavilions and playgrounds will remain open for residents to enjoy on their day off.
Aside from the parks, all other municipal buildings and services will be closed in observance of the holiday, including the library, civic center, Board of Education and school offices, Chamber of Commerce, post office, and other state and federal offices.
Republic Services will not pick up its regular Monday routes, and sanitation customers who are normally serviced on Mondays will instead be serviced the following day.
