Vestavia Hills Rebels to Face Spain Park Jags at Home

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Coming off of its first loss to Homewood in 11 years 6-0, the Rebels are ramping up for its first game of regional play at home. Vestavia Hills will kickoff against the Spain Park Jaguars on their home turf Friday night.

Last year, the Rebels lost to the Jags 28-14. The Jags are coming into week three with two wins under their belt, one against Gadsden City 31-19 and another against Muscle Shoals 40-7. The Rebels have lost four out of the past five games its played against Spain Park, but will need to muster a win if it wishes to avoid starting the season with two straight losses.
