Best-Selling Author To Speak At Area Church

HOOVER, AL -- One of the country's most prominent Christian authors will be a featured guest at an event at Shades Mountain Baptist Church in April 2020. LifeWay Women Events announced Monday that The Word Alive with Lysa, featuring best-selling author Lysa TerKeurst, will takem place April 3-4 next year.

TerKeurst is known for her best-selling books and studies as well as being the president of Proverbs 31 Ministries. She is the #1 New York Times best-selling author of Uninvited as well as 19 other books and studies, including Finding I AM.

The event, presented by the Nashville-based publishing company LifeWay Christian Resources, will also feature Christian recording artist Ellie Holcomb.

Holcomb, the wife and fellow band member of international recording artist Drew Holcomb of Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, will lead worship before each event.

Each event takes place over two days, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and ending at 9:30 p.m. On Saturday, the event will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m. General admission seating for all events is $89.
