Black Jacket Symphony To Perform Concert Series At Hoover Met

HOOVER, AL — After months without public events or live music performances, Hoover will host a live music series from the Black Jacket Symphony at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium beginning June 11. A report by the Hoover Sun said the popular local cover band will perform in the parking lot of the Hoover Met, calling it "Concerts from the Car," to comply with social distancing guidelines.

The series schedule looks like this:

• June 4: The Beatles’ “Abbey Road”
• June 11: Queen’s “A Night at the Opera”
• June 18: Journey’s “Escape”
• June 25: om Petty and the Heartbreakers’ “Damn the Torpedoes”
