Bucs Keep Spot In Top 5 Ahead Of Bye Weekend
The ASWA top 5 remained unchanged this week, as all five teams secured wins last week.
HOOVER, AL — Following their 37-7 win Friday over Oak Mountain, Hoover remained at no. 4 in the Alabama Sports Writers Association rankings this week. The Bucs were unable to move up due to wins by all of the teams in the top 5 last week.
Despite going into last week's game without do-everything quarterback Robby Ashford, Hoover took care of the Eagles handily, as sophomore signal-caller Evan Reeder completed 14-of-22 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns.
The Bucs forced three turnovers while holding the Eagles offense to just a lone score.
