Bucs Move Up In Latest Football Poll

HOOVER, AL — Hoover inched closer to the top of the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 7A football poll this week, coming ranked no. 2 behind Thompson.

The Bucs dominated Oak Mountain Friday night, winning 42-7, and took advantage of then-no. 2 Hewitt-Trussville's loss to Thompson to take over the second spot in the rankings.

Hoover will take that new ranking into this Friday's game against Prattville at home.
