Cajun Restaurant Moving To New Hoover Development
The Shoppes at Highway 150 Crossings will be anchored by Jubilee Joe's Cajun Seafood Restaurant, which is moving to the site.

HOOVER, AL — A popular Cajun restaurant in Hoover is moving, but residents need not worry about having to travel outside of Hoover to eat there. Jubilee Joe's Cajun Seafood Restaurant will become the anchor of The Shoppes at Highway 150 Crossings, expected to open in 2020.
The 12,000-square-foot development, approved by the Hoover City Council on Monday, will include space for up to six commercial tenants at 5190 Medford Drive, near the intersection of John Hawkins Parkway and Interstate 459, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report.
"I am thrilled to start construction on this new retail space for a larger Jubilee Joe’s Cajun Seafood Restaurant for our loyal customers who have been pushing for this, said Kash Siddiqui, owner of Jubilee Joe’s. "This spring, we will be ready to welcome more diners, host more special events, boil more crawfish, and accommodate bus groups like never before."
