City Bowls Franchise Coming To Hoover
Acai bowl and smoothie restaurant, with an existing Vestavia Hills location, will open its second store. Also is a popular food truck.
HOOVER, AL —City Bowls, an acai bowl and smoothie restaurant, announced on Facebook Tuesday that it will open its second area location in Hoover in midsummer.
The new establishment will be located at 5220 Peridot Place in Hoover's Stadium Trace shopping center. The location currently is the home to SMOOSH, an ice cream shop scheduled to close at the end of the month.
This will be City Bowls' second brick-and-mortar location and its first franchise. The current location, at 3036 Healthy Way in Vestavia Hills, is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Cory and Erin Dill. The Dills indicated on Facebook that Tomkins family would be the team behind the new franchise.

"They have been huge fans of City Bowls since day one and are going to be a great fit for the City Bowls family," said the original owners on Facebook.
The Dills also operate a popular City Bowls food truck, which makes appearances throughout the Birmingham metro area.

According to its website, City Bowls offer acai bowls, pitaya bowls, green bowls and smoothies that are made fresh daily. The most popular items are: the Powerhouse Bowl, the Bham Bowl and the OG Bowl.
The Powerhouse Bowl includes acai, almond milk, bananas, peanut butter, strawberries and whey protein. The topping choices are: granola, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, peanut butter and Nutella
The Bham Bowl features pitaya, almond milk, peanut butter, strawberries and whey protein. The topping choices are: granola, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, peanut butter and Nutella.
The OG Bowl has acai, apple juice, bananas and strawberries. The topping choices are: granola, bananas, strawberries and honey drizzle.
Customers also can choose the Build Your Own Bowl.
