Dick's Sporting Goods To Open On 280 Corridor

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A new Dick's Sporting Goods store, combined with a Golf Galaxy is expected to open next month at the Lee Branch shopping center off U.S. 280. A Birmingham Business Journal report said it will be the only store of its kind in Alabama.

The new store, taking up the Academy Sports former location in the shopping center, will have separate entrances for each brand, with Dick's Sporting Goods using 47,000 square feet and Golf Galaxy occupying 24,000 square feet.
