HOOVER, AL - As families around the region celebrate Fourth of July with fireworks and cookouts, many services will take a holiday break. Patch has compiled a list of closings you can expect Thursday in Hoover.

State offices will be closed July 4-5, as well as Birmingham city offices. Birmingham Public Libraries will also be closed July 4-5.
