Free Friday Flicks Kicks Off With 'Mary Poppins Returns'

HOOVER, AL - One of the most popular summer events in Hoover kicks off this weekend as Free Friday Flicks at Veterans Park returns June 7. The first movie in the summer-long series will be "Mary Poppins Returns."

Starting at 6:30 p.m., families can enjoy the Dale's Seasoning Kid's Zone and picnic with food and drink from Chicken Salad Chick. Movies start at dusk.
