Hoover Among Best Cities In Nation For Renters: Report
A recent report ranks Hoover among the best cities in the country for renters.
HOOVER, AL — Hoover has graced several "best places" lists over the years, with its highly ranked school system, its abundant parks and recreation opportunities and its shopping, and recently made a list of the best cities to live in for renters.
Rent.com recently released its list of the 25 best cities for renters, and Hoover came in ranked sixth in the country on the list.
To establish its list, Rent.com looked at each city's median income, the average rent in that city and the rent-to-income ratio.

- Median Income: $87,355
- Average Rent: $925 a month
- Rent-to-income ratio: 12.7 percent
Montgomery was the only other Alabama city to make the list, coming in at 19th.
