Hoover City Hall To Undergo Renovations

HOOVER, AL - This summer will include a bit of a face lift at Hoover City Hall. The city of Hoover announced it is planning extensive renovations at City Hall this year, which includes a bevy of additions and improvements.

A report by the Birmingham Business Journal said the city plans to renovate the third floor, which includes the council chamber, lobby, restrooms, office areas, elevators, pedestrian bridge, stairwell and an alternate to enclose a portion of the third-floor plaza.

Proposals for the renovation of the third floor need to be received at the city by July 9 after a mandatory pre-bid conference June 25.
