Hoover Council Extends Stadium Trace Incentives

The Hoover City Council has extended the timetable for incentives for Stadium Trace Village, leaving room for upgrades.

HOOVER, AL — The Hoover City Council Monday voted to extend incentives for Stadium Trace Village, as room for growth is expected in the development. A Birmingham Business Journal report said the extension will likely allow the developer to recoup $20 million in sales tax rebates.

The Broad Metro development company plans to spend another $6.5 million on infrastructure improvements at Stadium Trace Village, and the new extension allows the developer to to leverage capital in the bond market to complete the Village Green improvement project.
