Hoover PD Launches K-9 Photo Contest

HOOVER, AL — The Hoover Police Department's K-9 Unit has been a hit on social media throughout the years, as the department often features the different dogs in the unit and tells back stories about them, making them a true part of the Hoover community.

Continuing their feature of their police dogs, the Hoover Police Department has launched its first K-9 photo contest. The department asked its K-9 handlers to send in their favorite photo of their partner.

"Now, we need your help: Vote for YOUR favorite. The winning photo will be the profile pic on the Department’s Facebook page for one month," Hoover police said in a social media post.

Votes can be cast on the Hoover PD website.
