Hoover Ranked Among Best Places To Live In Alabama

The latest Niche rankings show Hoover as one of the top places to live in the state of Alabama.

HOOVER, AL — The sign in front of Hoover's municipal center reads, "Hoover: A Great Place To Live," and apparently, a national ranking system released recently proves that to be true. Niche.com released its rankings of the best places to live in Alabama, and Hoover ranked among the top 5.

The rankings, which has Hoover at no. 4 statewide, were determined by using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, CDC and other agencies, combined with reviews from people that live in the area. Also, the study considers a variety of topics to determine a town or city's standing, including affordability, local housing market, neighborhood diversity, local public schools and walkability, to name a few.

The Niche.com rankings listed these cities as the 10 best to live in Alabama:

  3. Indian Springs Village
  4. Hoover

  8. Auburn
  9. Pelham
  10. Helena

Niche also ranked Hoover no. 4 in Best Places to Raise a Family and Places With The Best Public Schools In Alabama.
