Hoover Ranks Among Top 5 For Best Places To Live In Alabama
A recent poll of cities across the country ranked the best places to live in Alabama, and listed Hoover among the top 5 in the state.
HOOVER, AL - As if Hoover did not already have enough accolades as a city, a recent poll by niche.com has listed Hoover among the best cities in Alabama in which to live. Hoover placed fourth on the list, trailing only nearby Vestavia Hills and Homewood and the Huntsville suburb of Madison on the list. Hoover has consistently ranked among the fasted growing cities in the state, and its school system recently received a top grade by the Alabama Department of Education.
The annual list by niche.com compiled data based on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities. Rankings were based on data from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and other sources.
The ten best cities in which to live in Alabama are:
- Madison
- Homewood
- Vestavia Hills
- Hoover
- Mountain Brook
- Auburn
- Indian Springs Village
- Meadowbrook
- Helena
- Pelham
Hoover received an A+ overall, with an A+ for schools, an A for housing, an A+ for being family friendly, a B- for crime and safety, a B for nightlife and an A for diversity.
