Hoover Resident Receives Scholarship To Wallace State
Wallace State Community College awarded more than $2.5 million in scholarships for the coming school year.
HANCEVILLE, AL — Wallace State Community College announced Tuesday the school has awarded more than $2.5 million in scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year, and some local students are recipients of some of those funds.
Local scholarship recipients include:
Madison Baker of Birmingham; the Leadership Scholarship.
Lance Clevenger of Pinson; the Leadership Scholarship.
Kylie Everett of Pinson; the Academic Excellence Scholarship.
Lauren Hallmark of Pinson; the Leadership Scholarship.
Amber Mathews of Hoover; the Allied Health Scholarship.
Ryleigh Thornton of Birmingham; the Academic Excellence Scholarship.
Robert Bates of Pinson; the Performing Arts Scholarship.
Britney Chavez of Birmingham recieved the Leadership Scholarship.
Jalen Cleveland of Birmingham; the Applied Technology Scholarship.
Kylen Martin of Birmingham; the Applied Technology Scholarship.
Dylan Rodgers of Birmingham; the Applied Technology Scholarship.
Luis Sanchez of Birmingham; the Applied Technology Scholarship.
