Hoover Residents Elected To University Of Alabama SGA Council

The Student Government Association Executive Council at the University of Alabama next year will include two Hoover residents.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The University of Alabama student body has elected a new executive council for 2021's Student Government Association, including two Hoover residents.

Local students elected to the council:

  • Elizabeth Martin of Hoover was elected to the office of Vice President for External Affairs for The University of Alabama's Student Government Association Executive Council.
  • Jack Steinmetz of Mountain Brook was elected to the office of Vice President for Student Affairs for The University of Alabama's Student Government Association Executive Council.
  • Matthew Curl of Hoover was elected to the office of Chief Justice for The University of Alabama's Student Government Association Executive Council.

The SGA strives to promote a thriving campus through initiatives, events, and partnerships with many organizations. The SGA members are prepared to represent any concerns that come about in each student's lives.
