Hoover Residents Participate In Walk To Support Wounded Veterans

Two Hoover residents are among members of Alpha Tao Omega fraternity at Troy participating in Walk Hard.

TROY, AL — More than 30 members of Troy University's Alpha Tau Omega fraternity will walk nearly 130 miles from the Troy Campus to Panama City Beach, Fla., in support of wounded veterans. The Walk Hard event began Saturday.

Area students taking part in the walk include:

  • Ben Willoughby of Birmingham
  • Hunter Lawrence of Hoover
  • Justin Thomas of Hoover

The annual Walk Hard fundraiser is a 6-day excursion that benefits Jeep Sullivan’s Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures.
