Hoover School System Continues Summer Feeding Program
Hoover City Schools' long-running Summer Feeding Program will continue this summer.
HOOVER, AL — Hoover City Schools' long-running Summer Feeding Program will continue this summer, as kids and teens will be able to eat free at four of the system's schools.
The program runs May 26-July 24, Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following locations:
Green Valley Elementary School
3200 Old Columbiana Road Hoover 35226
Simmons Middle School
1575 Patton Chapel Road Hoover 35226
Bumpus Middle School
6055 Fleming Parkway Hoover 35244
Berry Middle School
4500 Jaguar Drive Hoover 35244
These will be curbside pickup meals available to anyone age 18 and younger (must be present to receive; no identification required). The Summer Feeding Program is a collaboration among Hoover City Schools, the Alabama State Department of Education, and the USDA.
