Hoover Takes Top 5 Ranking Into Game Against Vestavia
The Bucs will face Vestavia Hills this week, and look for some help from other teams to capture a region championship.

HOOVER, AL — Hoover took care of business last week against city rival Spain Park, and carry their no. 4 ranking into a regional match-up this week against Vestavia Hills. The Bucs could use some help from some other teams, however, if they hope to capture a region championship.
Hoover's 42-35 win over the Jags improved the Bucs' record to 6-1, and 4-1 in the region. While the team takes on Vestavia Hills Friday, attention will also focus on the Mountain Brook/Thompson game, as both teams carry an undefeated regional record into that match-up.
The Alabama Sports Writers Association 7A rankings for this week showed no change in the top 5, but that will change next week based on the outcome of this week's games.
