Hoover Town House Project Gets OK From Zoning Board
The Hoover zoning board will recommend to the City Council a rezoning for 8 town houses off Lynngate Drive.
HOOVER, AL — Plans for a rezoning of nearly 1.5 acres off Lynngate Road in Hoover for town homes was given approval by the Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission Monday. A Hoover Sun report said eight town houses will be built on the site.
The plans have faced opposition from local residents who cited problems with other housing developments in the area, including parking issues and excess trash, the report said.
The City Council is expected to consider the rezoning request at its Nov. 16 meeting.
