Hoover Woman Charged With Attempted Murder By Hatchet

Donna Marie Brasher has been charged with attempted murder of her boyfriend by hatchet when found with blood on her hands Monday evening.

HOOVER, AL — Hoover Police have identified Donna Marie Brasher, 31, and charged her with attempted murder Monday, Dec. 18. According to HPD spokesman Lt. Keith Czeskleba, Brasher was found standing on the front porch of a residence in Four Season Condominiums on Lorna Road with blood on her hands.

The victim, her 58-year-old boyfriend, was attacked by Brasher with a hatchet and billiard ball after he wouldn’t let her use his car, according to al.com. Brasher was taken to Hoover City Jail Monday evening and officially charged with attempted murder. She has since been moved to Jefferson County Jail with bail set at $30,000.
