Jefferson State Community College: Fall Semester Short Sessions Now Available!

Jefferson State is proud to offer students more flexibility during the 2021 fall semester with Short Session I and Short Session II.
Registration is open now for both sessions! Explore the details below to see if the short session is for you!

• Courses in the fall 2021 Short Sessions will last eight weeks (as opposed to 16 weeks for full term).
• Since courses in the Short Session cover the same material and are taught with the same rigor as the full term, they will be faster paced than full term courses.
• Some courses in the Short Session are being offered to provide an option for students to complete a sequence in one term (i.e. ENG 101 in Short Session I and ENG 102 in Short Session II).
• Students do not have to enroll in Short Session I courses to be eligible for Short Session II as long as they meet all course prerequisites.

Short Session I

Duration of Session: August 18 to October 9
Last Day to Register: August 19

Duration of Session: October 13 to December 11
