Learning Center In Hoover Offers Virtual Learning Assistance Plan

HOOVER, AL — One concern echoed by multiple parents as the 2020-21 school year approaches is the uncertainty surrounding the online learning platforms that school systems have been forced to adopt in amid the COVID-19 pandemic. A learning center in Hoover has launched a program to assist with those concerns, however.

Children's Lighthouse Learning Center in Hoover has started its Virtual Learning Assistance program, which was designed to provide a more connected learning environment for school-age children who are participating in virtual learning this fall.

With flex plans that include full-day or block schedule options, the program is customizable to fit each child’s individual needs to ensure a setting conducive to learning.

"Through the Virtual Learning Assistance program, we hope to be a resource to families who are navigating e-learning this fall," said Michael Brown, President of Childrens Lighthouse Franchise Company. "While we are saddened that some children may not be given the opportunity to grow and learn as they normally would in a multi-person classroom setting, our Virtual Learning Assistance program can, at least partially, fill this void for them."

With the program, students will have access to WiFi, private study areas and comfortable seating options in re-designed classrooms, with specially designed schedules and integrated meal and snack times, students enrolled in virtual learning this upcoming fall will receive the same routine and structure they would from a traditional classroom.

The Children's Lighthouse Learning Center is located at 4731 Chase Circle in Hoover.
