A Starbucks veteran has purchased one of Birmingham's longstanding coffee businesses.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — One of Birmingham's coffee shop staples has new ownership. O'Henry's Coffee, which started in Homewood more than 25 years ago, was recently purchased by a former employee and Starbucks veteran.

A report by the Birmingham Business Journal said Blake Stevens, in partnership with Key7 Investment Co., recently bought O’Henry’s Coffees and O’Henry’s Coffee Roasting Co from owners Mary and Randy Adamy.

Stevens worked at O'Henry's while a student at Samford. He also worked for Starbucks Corp. for 14 years.
