Macy's Holds National Holiday Hiring Event For Birmingham
Macy's looks to hire 80 seasonal employees in the Birmingham area during its National Holiday Hiring Event Oct. 22.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — With holiday shopping around the corner, retailers look to staff their businesses with seasonal employees, hence Macy's announcement of the store's National Holiday Hiring Event, which aims to hire 80 seasonal employees in Birmingham.
According to a release from the company, the Oct. 22 hiring event is for seasonal positions at stores, call centers and distribution and fulfillment centers. Interviews will be conducted by phone from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 22.
Retail schedules may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and busy events such as the day after Thanksgiving and the day after Christmas. For seasonal positions, the number of scheduled hours may vary each week based on need or position type.
